Good Times has added comedy-meets-craft visionary Julian Pugsley to its U.S. commercial roster. Known for his cinematic style and razor-sharp humor, Pugsley builds slightly off-kilter worlds that are equal parts clever, absurd, and visually arresting.
A former agency creative turned filmmaker, Pugsley brings a rare balance of wit and precision to every project. His reel includes standout campaigns for Amazon, Mercedes, Doritos, Miller, and K-Mart, with collaborations spanning BBH, BBDO, DDB, Droga5, Fallon, Fred & Farid, and Mischief. His work has earned recognition from Cannes Lions, The One Show, and The Clios — a testament to his instinct for tone and timing.
A UK native, Pugsley found his calling behind the camera after years of working on the agency side. He refined his storytelling and cinematography chops through studies at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and The New School, developing a directing style that’s both technically exacting and mischievously spontaneous.
“Directing is the best job in the world,” said Pugsley. “You start with words on a page and end up with something alive — something that makes people feel. Good Times has that rare mix of creative nerve and technical precision. They’re the perfect crew to push boundaries with — and have a laugh doing it.”
“Julian has a distinct point of view and knows how to toe right up to the line while maintaining restraint,” added Eric McCasline, Co-Founder and Executive Producer at Good Times. “His work is consistently interesting, impeccable, and unexpected. We’re stoked to have him on board and to keep pushing through boundaries together.”
Pugsley splits his time between New York and the UK and is also represented by Royal Budapest in Europe.
Reel 360 News wishes Julian all the best in his new chapter with Good Times.
