Director AJ Bleyer signs with Schofield’s Flowers

AJ Bleyer

Filmmaker and photographer AJ Bleyer, whose high-octane reel includes campaigns for Ferrari, McLaren F1, Red Bull, Riot Games, and Amazon, has officially signed with Schofield’s Flowers for exclusive representation in the experiential space.

The announcement formalizes a growing creative relationship between Bleyer and the multifaceted production shop led by Steve Schofield. The duo has already delivered head-turning branded content for clients like SIXT (featuring F1 champ Nico Rosberg) and Goodnites (with retired astronaut and U.S. Navy Captain Scott Kelly), produced out of GUT Miami and New York.

“Whether he’s on set or a stage like TED or Adobe MAX, AJ has this rare ability to translate big ideas into visual gold,” said Schofield, Founder and Chief Content Officer. “He’s the kind of creative agencies want in the room from the pitch — not just behind the camera. That’s exactly what Schofield’s Flowers is all about.”

“I owe a lot to Scof,” noted Bleyer. “He took a chance on me and introduced me to heroes of mine in science and sports. And now we’re building these bold, dynamic projects with agencies like GUT. It’s a dream collaboration.”

Known for blending speed with story, Bleyer cut his teeth shooting automotive content with friends in high school — footage that eventually caught the attention of luxury car dealers. By 22, he had launched Advent Films. By 27, he was one of the youngest directors accepted into the Directors Guild of America, despite being rejected from every film school he applied to.

Bleyer has since become a trusted name in both branded and experiential content, with notable credits from NASA and SpaceX, as well as clearance to shoot in high-security military zones. “AJ shoots in places most people need clearance just to dream about,” Schofield added.

When he’s not behind the camera or drifting on a track, Bleyer’s a fixture on the speaker circuit with appearances at Adobe MAX, NAB, and TEDx. He’s also a brand ambassador for RED, Adobe, Fujinon, and Dell Technologies.

He defines his creative focus in three parts: “First, experiential — big, bold activations. Second, action — I’ve shot race cars at 200 mph, filmed zero gravity, done skydives, explosions… all the stuff that gives my parents ulcers. Third is AI. I dove deep into the tools early, and I think as AI makes visual creation easier, real-world experiences will become even more valuable. You can’t synthesize goosebumps.”

With Bleyer now officially part of the Schofield’s Flowers ecosystem, expect high-impact, high-touch, and high-speed work to follow.
