Dexter joins an Avengers type group of serial killers in new trailer

Dexter

It’s official: Dexter is back… again. During its packed CCXP panel in Mexico City, SHOWTIME® unveiled the official trailer for Dexter: Resurrection, the latest chapter in the ever-expanding Dexter universe.

The new series picks up weeks after the shocking finale of Dexter: New Blood — and yes, Michael C. Hall is once again stepping into the blood-spattered shoes of Dexter Morgan, who somehow survived the bullet his son Harrison fired straight into his chest. Waking from a coma, Dexter finds Harrison gone, and sets off for New York City to make things right… if such a thing is even possible in his world of chaos and consequence.

“Closure won’t come easy,” teases the logline — especially not with Angel Batista (David Zayas) sniffing around, and Dexter’s demons never far behind. Watch the trailer below:

Premiere Date & Schedule

  • Streaming debut: Friday, July 11 (Paramount+ with SHOWTIME – first two episodes)
  • Linear debut: Sunday, July 13 at 8 PM ET/PT
