Cut+Run has announced the expansion of their Texas-based team with the addition of two talented editors, John McStravick and Adam Henderson. Longtime colleagues and friends, McStravick and Henderson have navigated parallel paths in their careers, with stints at Treehouse Editorial and Charlie Uniform Tango before finding a new home at Cut+Run.

“We are thrilled to welcome Adam and John to the Cut+Run family,” comments Bebe Baldwin, Executive Producer at Cut+Run Texas. “Their talent was immediately apparent, and their personalities sealed the deal. It’s just as important for our editors to be good humans as it is for them to be talented. We’re also beyond excited to have a presence in the Dallas market, a tight-knit community we deeply respect and value. We can’t wait for the adventure to begin.”

Amburr Farls, Managing Partner for Cut+Run on the West Coast and Texas, echoes this sentiment. “John and Adam are exceptional at their craft and already feel like part of our C+R family. We are delighted to welcome them and seize this exciting opportunity to authentically expand our Texas community.”

John McStravick

John McStravick brings over 15 years of editorial experience, having collaborated with agencies such as TRG, LERMA, Launch Agency, and 31,000FT on broadcast campaigns for global brands like Avocados From Mexico, 7UP, Frito Lay, Home Depot, Ram, Toyota, and Russell Athletic.

His work is characterized by rich storytelling and human connections, whether through a deeply moving PSA or a playful comedy spot. McStravick’s fascination with advertising’s lasting impression and its reflection of pop culture has driven his career. He believes compelling stories are everywhere, and his ability to find common ground on and off the screen has earned him loyal clients and appreciative colleagues.

Adam Henderson

Adam Henderson has been editing professionally since 2009, although his passion for the craft dates back to 2002. His early experience in creative and journalistic video editing ignited a deep love for the profession. Henderson confirmed his calling when he won Adobe’s international editing competition, “Make the Cut,” besting 9,000 entrants from over 28 countries.

His client roster includes Motel 6, Poo~Pourri, HEB, Famous Footwear, Home Depot, Salvation Army, Toyota, Tastykake, and Suddenlink. Beyond advertising, Henderson is a movie buff who has worked on feature films, web series, and award-winning short films. Helping bring people’s ideas to life, whether in short or long form, is a driving force behind each of his collaborations.

“This opportunity to join the team behind award-winning work and industry leadership is very exciting and, frankly, a dream come true,” says McStravick. “It’s exciting to be a part of intensifying Cut+Run’s reach in Texas, which is a vibrant creative community.”

“Everyone at Cut+Run is so welcoming. They are one of the top editorial companies in the world, and yet it feels very much like a family,” adds Henderson. “It’s been wild that John and I have ended up working side by side for such a long time—I am excited that it continues with Cut+Run.”

With the addition of McStravick and Henderson, Cut+Run is poised to strengthen its presence in Texas, bringing their unique talents and extensive experience to the vibrant Dallas creative community.
