Founded in 2020, Fierce & Kind is a minority-owned and woman-led spirits company rapidly growing its presence in bottle shops, national retail chains, bars, and restaurants across California. The brand’s award-winning product portfolio includes an 86-proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey, a six-times distilled American Vodka, and a recently launched Single Barrel Cask Strength Bourbon. Co-founders Basem Harb and Cyndi Smith, inspired by successful social enterprises like Ben & Jerry’s and Patagonia, aimed to bring spirits to the market focused on doing good.
Fierce & Kind is committed to combating social and economic inequities. The brand supports underserved entrepreneur communities through its foundation, The Fierce & Kind Equity Foundation, donating 25% of its profits to fuel educational and economic opportunities in historically excluded communities.
