Brace yourselves for the triumphant return of the Coors Light Chill Train, set to bring an extra dose of ‘chill’ to this year’s Big Game.

After a 12-year hiatus, Droga5 is helping the iconic beer train make its grand comeback. Departing from the Rockies, the Coors Light Chill Train aims to spread good vibes and deliver Coors Light coast to coast.

To celebrate the train’s revival at the Big Game, Coors Light is offering fans an unprecedented opportunity to book a virtual seat on the legendary beer train. Through the magic of ice-cold CGI, passengers who secure their seats will find themselves virtually aboard the Coors Light Chill Train, featured in a special, slow-motion rendition of Coors Light’s Big Game ad.

As passengers become a part of the ad, they will receive a contract, $500 in talent fees, and exclusive commemorative swag. Watch below:

“We can’t wait to introduce the Coors Light Chill Train to the next generation of Coors Light drinkers, giving our fans a front row, or window seat, to the action.” said Marcelo Pascoa, vice president of marketing for the Coors Family of Brands. “There’s no better stage than the Super Bowl to usher in the return of the most iconic beer train—the Coors Light Chill Train.”

Last year, the beer brand achieved remarkable success as the fastest volume share gainer in total beer and the fastest-growing premium light beer in America. As the brand continues its momentum in 2024, the Big Game ad featuring the Chill Train aims to celebrate Coors Light’s rapid growth and deliver a refreshing wave of chill.

“After breaking records last year, now is the time to bring back the most iconic beer train of all time to one of the biggest moment in sports,” adds Sofia Colucci, chief marketing officer for Molson Coors. “Coors Light is the fastest volume share gainer in total beer, so it makes perfect sense to celebrate that rapid growth with our train by delivering chill across North America.”

Given the Chill Train’s staggering speed of over 900 MPH, passengers will experience a blink-and-you-might-miss-it ride in the ad. However, fear not! Coors Light plans to release a special slow-motion version of the ad online on game day, allowing viewers to catch every passenger flying by. Those lucky enough to secure a seat will have bragging rights at their Super Bowl parties.

Starting on Sunday, January 28, CL enthusiasts can vie for one of the 100 available seats on the Chill Train by visiting www.CoorsLightChillTrain.com, coinciding with the airing of the Coors Light TV teaser during the NFC Championship Game.

The beer brand will release new batches of available seats every day at 1 p.m. ET through Friday, February 2. As seats are expected to be in high demand, fans are encouraged to act swiftly.

Super Bowl LVIII will be played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, February 11, 2024. It will be broadcast on CBS and streamed on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon. Usher will perform at halftime.
