The Lincoln Project is an American conservative advocacy group that was formed in late 2019 by several prominent Republicans including George Conway, who is married to Kellyanne Conway, counselor to the president in the Trump White House. The goal of the committee is to prevent the re-election of Donald Trump in 2020. The political organization, which endorsed Joe Biden, has now followed through on their target by releasing a new :60-second digital video that has gone viral.
Called “Mourning in America,” the ad is a play on one of the most famous political spots of the last century, 1984’s “Morning in America” from Ronald Reagan’s re-election campaign.
With a solemn score and shots of an even more solemn America, an announcer declares that “There’s mourning in America. Today, more than 60,000 Americans have died from a deadly virus Donald Trump ignored. With the economy in shambles, more than 26 million Americans are out of work—the worst economy in decades. Trump bailed out Wall Street, but not Main Street …” Watch below:

Here’s the original version of “Morning in America.”
Late Monday night, the President took to Twitter to attack the “RINO” (Republican In Name Only) team behind “Mourning in America,” calling them “loser types” and saying, “I don’t know what Kellyanne did to her deranged loser of a husband, Moonface… but it must have been really bad.”
The video, which Trump’s Twitter storm has brought attention to the video which now has amassed 1.3 million views.
