Batman has finally met his Joker. During Thursday’s San Diego Comic-Con panel for Batman: Caped Crusader, Prime Video announced that House of the Dragon star Matthew Needham will voice the Clown Prince of Crime in the animated noir’s second season.
The reveal came following the world premiere screening of Season 2 and was joined by executive producers James Tucker and Geoffrey Thorne, along with cast members Hamish Linklater, Jamie Chung, and Needham himself.
The casting answers one of the biggest lingering questions surrounding the new season, as Prime Video had previously kept the actor behind Gotham’s most infamous villain under wraps. Watch the trailer below:

Prime Video also used the panel to debut the trailer for Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles, a companion game coming to Amazon Luna on July 31, the same day all ten episodes of Season 2 premiere as a binge release. The game will be available to Prime members and Luna subscribers across North America and much of Europe.
