Creative studio Carbon has announced the appointment of Chloe Sedelmaier as Executive Producer (EP) in its New York office. Sedelmaier, who joins from Nice Shoes, brings a wealth of experience in sales and business development to her new role.

At Carbon, she will focus on strengthening client relationships across the East Coast while overseeing projects in design, animation, live-action production, and visual effects (VFX).

Sedelmaier will collaborate closely with Ryan Smith, Executive Producer at Whitehouse Post, Carbon’s sister company, to offer clients comprehensive services that include editorial, color, and finish, all under one roof.

“We’ve known Chloe for years and have always admired her work,” says Carbon Managing Director Phil Linturn. “She’s a highly connected and successful business development EP. I’m incredibly excited to merge our talented team with her extensive network. Chloe has an outstanding reputation with clients and teams alike, and I know she will bring tremendous value to Carbon.”

Sedelmaier, who has been following Carbon’s work for years, is thrilled to join the team. “I’ve long admired Carbon for their incredible work and talented people. It’s an honor to work for a company that excels across all aspects of production,” she shared.

With over a decade of experience in strategy and business development, Sedelmaier has made her mark as a collaborative and approachable EP. She emphasizes the importance of maintaining strong relationships and communication across every stage of a project. “As an EP, being approachable, collaborative, and strategic is essential. You need people to feel comfortable bringing both the exciting and challenging aspects to you. It’s incredibly rewarding to turn tricky projects into positive experiences, which can only happen with a rock-solid team and creative collaboration.”

Linturn expressed his excitement about Sedelmaier’s addition to the team. “Chloe is popular for a reason. She brings a great energy and truly understands that this industry is built on trust and strong relationships. We’re excited to have her here ensuring our clients receive top-tier work and experiences.”

Sedelmaier’s expertise and leadership will be key in expanding Carbon’s presence in New York and delivering high-quality creative solutions to clients across various industries.
