Chicago Filmmakers announces their Winter Classes

We often get phone calls at the REEL asking for advice on how to learn more about filmmaking, screenwriting, or just brushing up on skills that haven’t been put to use in a while.

My first bit of advice is to research, educate yourself, take any job in the industry that is available (including a background extra) and find a community of like-minded, creative individuals. And then I tell them to contact Chicago Filmmakers.

It’s surprising how many do not know the resources they have at their fingertips. Finding and fulfilling your dream is 100% within your reach and I wish I had these amazing resources when I was just beginning.

Chicago Filmmakers has been here for us since 1973. I suggest you go to their website on a regular basis because they ALWAYS have amazing classes and screenings, AND they have creative minds just like you.
