Camp + King promotes Lord to Brand Director

Camp + King has promoted Heather Lord to Brand Director, the advertising agency announced today.

Lord joined Camp + King as an account supervisor nearly five years ago, and since that time, has worked on various accounts across the agency and flawlessly executed numerous campaigns for clients such as DISH, Energizer, and gourmet chocolate Scharffen Berger. 

“Over the last five years, Heather has proven to be a capable and confident leader whose brand stewardship allows us to create great work on behalf of our clients,” said Emily Dillow, Camp + King director of brand and junior partner. “We’re adding another strong, successful female to our leadership ranks.”

In her new role as brand director, Heather will head up Akili, a digital therapeutic company that is launching first-of-its-kind video games to treat cognitive diseases. Akili recently received FDA clearance for Endeavor, a video game treatment for children with ADHD, and will be launching an integrated marketing campaign in the coming months.

She will also head up the prAna business, building on the huge success of the ‘Day Job to Dream Job’ contest Camp + King launched for the apparel company last year. 

Lord previously worked as an account manager at Goodby Silverstein & Partners, and before that, she was an account executive at Hill Holliday in Boston on the agency’s Cadillac business.
