Bumble hits the right note with an ode to real connection

Bumble

Following last week’s launch of its new brand platform, For The Love of Love, Bumble has unveiled a powerful film that celebrates real, authentic love—no filters, no gloss, just the small human gestures that make it real.

Set to Labi Siffre’s evocative Bless the Telephone, the spot features real couples who met on Bumble and is shot entirely in black and white to strip away distractions and spotlight the timeless beauty of healthy relationships.

Directed by British filmmaker Fenn O’Meally in partnership with Special US, the film honors the quiet moments—eye contact, intertwined hands, unspoken understanding—that define connection. It rolls out in :15, :30 and :60 cuts across the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Australia and Mexico, championing a modern vision of dating rooted in authenticity and the belief that real love is worth pursuing.

Adding resonance, the film features a voiceover from Bumble Founder and CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd—an invitation and a commitment to helping people find real love. Watch below:

“We are incredibly proud of the work we’ve created with For The Love of Love,” said Neela Pal, Bumble’s Senior Vice President of Global Marketing. “This campaign is a celebration of what people value most in dating today—feeling seen, safe, and genuinely hopeful. It shines a light on the beauty of real connection and reminds us that love, in its most authentic form, is always worth cherishing.”

Pal adds, “Every element of this campaign is designed not only to inspire and support healthier, more meaningful relationships, but also to elevate Bumble as the brand that champions love in all its emotion and possibility. For The Love of Love is about helping people feel the power of love—in the big milestones and in the small everyday moments that make it so meaningful.”

“We really wanted to capture something real and artful—love that’s raw, honest, and built on genuine communication and connection,” added Amy Ferguson, CCO of Special US. “Using black and white felt right because it strips everything back to what matters: those small moments, the gestures, the unspoken connections. For Bumble, this is a huge creative opportunity and vibrant celebration of meaningful connection, bringing fresh energy and depth to the dating landscape. For The Love of Love is a chance to remind everyone what real connection looks like and inspire a healthier, more meaningful way to love.”

The film is part of Bumble’s fully integrated 360 campaign, produced with Bumble’s in-house team. Complementing the launch, iconic OOH placements are now live across New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, San Francisco, London, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Paris—each spotlighting real Bumble couples captured by The Collective You.
