Big Communications has announced the appointment of Shannon Harris to the position of Executive Creative Director.
This promotion reflects the agency’s commitment to growth and innovation, and it marks a significant milestone as Shannon becomes the first female Executive Creative Director in Big’s 28-year history.
As Executive Creative Director, Shannon will oversee the development and delivery of highly impactful and award-winning solutions for Big’s clients, which include well-known brands such as Jack’s Family Restaurants, DoorDash, and FedEx. She will collaborate closely with Big’s leadership team, senior clients, and key stakeholders to ensure that objectives and expectations are aligned.
Harris has been an integral part of Big Communications and the broader Birmingham community since she joined the agency in 2010 as Art Director. Over the years, she has played a pivotal role in driving growth for the agency across various sectors, including technology, retail, and economic development, working with local and national brands such as GFiber, Texas Children’s Hospital, and UAB Callahan Eye, among others. She has also been actively involved in fostering growth and development within the agency as a founding Chairperson of Big’s Culture Club and its mentorship program, Big Growth.
