bet365 and VML Seattle are taking their “Winning Is Everything” campaign to the movies. The latest chapter introduces a new series of TV spots that position bet365 as “The Home of Winning Early,” spotlighting features including Early Payout, Early Bird Special, and Early Cashout through the visual language of classic movie genres.

Originally launched in March, “Winning Is Everything” was designed to persuade active sports bettors using other sportsbooks to switch to bet365. The campaign’s comedic premise centers on bettors who find themselves in places where they clearly do not belong, only to interrupt the moment with an increasingly elaborate take on the game.

The new work keeps that behavior intact but raises the production value considerably.

Each spot opens like a dramatic movie trailer, complete with heightened stakes, genre-specific visuals and larger-than-life storytelling. Then the reveal: the supposed hero is simply a bettor who cannot resist sharing why they think they have the game figured out. Watch below:

The result is a collision between cinematic seriousness and sports-betting one-upmanship.

“For sports bettors, few things are more satisfying than winning before the game’s over. At bet365, we know that feeling well – thanks to our signature Early Payout feature, winning early is in our DNA,” said Stephanie De Flora, Chief Marketing Officer, USA at bet365. “This latest chapter of our ‘Winning Is Everything’ campaign puts a cinematic spotlight on what defines a bet365 bettor: always having a read on the game, and never being shy about sharing it, while establishing bet365 as ‘The Home of Winning Early.’”

DeFlora said the new work is designed to reinforce the mindset of the bet365 bettor: confident, opinionated and always ready to tell the room what they think is about to happen.

Alice Mathias directed the campaign, with credits including I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson, Detroiters, The Other Two, and At Home with Amy Sedaris. Her comedy background fits the campaign’s central tension: meticulously constructing a movie world, then letting a bettor puncture it.

“Sports betting commercials have become very celebrity-heavy, so we decided to go a different direction,” said Kyle Gracey, executive creative director at VML Seattle.

Gracey said the team wanted to build characters and situations audiences might actually remember, rather than rely on familiar star power.

“We took our bettors and dropped them into the kinds of big, ridiculous, over-the-top movies we grew up loving,” he said.

VML also leaned heavily into craft, recreating the framing, aspect ratios, color, texture and visual conventions associated with different cinematic eras.

“There’s a lot of love and craft behind making each spot feel like it genuinely belongs in that genre, right up until a bettor walks in and ruins the movie,” Gracey noted. “That tension is where the campaign gets really fun.”

The campaign is running across broadcast, in-bar media, CTV, online video, and digital partners.
