Bemis Manufacturing has selected Milwaukee-based independent agency Hanson Dodge as its first-ever agency of record following a competitive review.
The 125-year-old manufacturer, known for toilet seats, bidets and other household products, has tapped Hanson Dodge to lead strategy, creative, media and production as the company looks to build broader awareness for the Bemis brand.
“Bemis is a proud manufacturing company that, for more than 125 years, has stood for quality, innovation, and trust,” said TJ Stiefvater, Vice President of Marketing at Bemis. “As we look to the future, we are focused on elevating our brand, expanding our reach, and accelerating our growth. To support this, we are advancing our marketing efforts in more intentional and innovative ways, and have chosen Hanson Dodge as our partner as we embark on this exciting new chapter.”
Hanson Dodge’s assignment will focus on increasing awareness of Bemis toilet seats and bidets, helping the category leader become a more recognizable household name. The integrated marketing effort is expected to launch later this year.
“There is something very special about working with a family-owned company,” said Stacie Boney, President of Hanson Dodge. “Bemis is the next in a long line for me, as well as for the agency, of family-owned clients including NOW Foods, Grand America Hotels & Resorts and KEEN footwear. With them, it’s not just about building a brand; it’s about advancing a family’s legacy of innovation and excellence. Bemis takes great pride in and ensures such high quality for their products. It’s a privilege to partner with them in harnessing creativity and integrated marketing to garner the awareness and engagement they deserve.”
The Bemis win caps a strong first half of new business for Hanson Dodge. Over the past six months, the agency has added 30 Seconds Cleaners and Harris Cleaning from PurposeBuilt Brands, Festa oven-ready Pinsa Crusts, Pet Supplies Plus, the Nature and Culture Museum of Wisconsin and an additional assignment from existing client IFS Softeon.
