In honor of Juneteenth and their commitment to fostering a more inclusive advertising industry, Assembly Global is co-hosting the Kickback on the Croisette #KOC2024 with @meetprompt at The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

This event is not just a celebration but a call to action—an opportunity to create pathways to diversity, amplify Black voices, and ensure that the future of advertising is inclusive and equitable.

Now in its third year, this event, pioneered by Lippie Taylor’s Black ERG and /prompt, has become the official Juneteenth celebration at Cannes Lions. The event will feature DJ Mercedes Benson, who runs a recruitment initiative connecting Black talent and other people of color with creative opportunities in the U.K.

The celebration will be hosted by Bria Bryant, Global CMO at Assembly, and Destiny K. Chambers, VP and Head of Marketing at /prompt. Together, they will lead this significant gathering, aimed at fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the advertising industry.



The Kickback on the Croisette serves as a vibrant platform to celebrate Juneteenth and to underscore the importance of creating an advertising landscape that is representative and supportive of all communities.
