Apple TV returned to Farnborough International Studios to produce its upcoming sci-fi series Neuromancer, continuing its use of the UK facility after Prime Target.
Created by Graham Roland and J. D. Dillard, the 10-part series is based on William Gibson’s influential 1984 cyberpunk novel, with Gibson also serving as an executive producer.
The series stars Callum Turner, Briana Middleton and Mark Strong.
Turner plays Case, a troubled hacker pulled into a dangerous world of digital espionage, organized crime and a high-risk mission alongside Molly, played by Middleton.
During filming in the Farnborough area, the Apple TV production used Farnborough International Studios as a two-unit base on two separate occasions, in February and September of last year.
One of the facility’s 22,000-square-foot sound stages also served as a crowd-holding area and for makeup and costume operations. At the same time, the production filmed scenes nearby at the Aviator Hotel and Farnborough Airport.
The production marks a return for Apple TV, which previously used the studios to film its 2025 series Prime Target.
Located within 40 miles of London, Farnborough International Studios offers more than 210,000 square feet of stage space and approximately 1 million square feet of exterior production space, along with workshops, production offices, parking and ancillary facilities.

The complex includes two purpose-built 22,000-square-foot sound stages, four 5,000-square-foot workshops and more than 215,000 square feet of additional indoor shooting space.
Its location along the M3 corridor also puts it roughly 35 minutes from London and 30 minutes from Heathrow, with Farnborough Airport adjacent to the site.
The studio also offers standing-set opportunities, driving-shoot access and on-site locations across the campus, along with dedicated power, Wi-Fi, water and catering services.
Farnborough International Studios positions sustainability as part of its production offering through its Destination Zero charter and commitments to Albert and Green Production initiatives.
With Neuromancer, Apple TV is once again tapping the facility as part production base, part logistical hub and part shooting location – a role increasingly important for large-scale streaming productions operating across multiple nearby sites.
Neuromancer is currently scheduled to premiere January 22, 2027.
