Seasoned leader to help optimize
US operations and maximize
agency’s growth potential
Independent digital creative agency AnalogFolk announced today the appointment of Ruth Sreenan as EVP, Operations for the US. AnalogFolk specializes in creating connected brand experiences to help people achieve their ambitions. They currently have offices in London, Sydney, New York, Portland, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
The newly created position comes at a pivotal time of growth for AnalogFolk’s US operations (New York and Portland). The agency has seen revenue increases of 120% in the past year due to AOR wins including Nike US Football, Blink Fitness and Guardian Life.
Based in New York and reporting to AF Partner/Managing Director Kunal Muzumdar, Sreenan will be responsible for creating and implementing best practices and tools to optimize the overall operation, effectiveness and financial wellness of the agency. She will also oversee project management and production, talent, finance and office services.
“Adding Ruth to our team is incredibly exciting. Her experience is hugely valuable to an agency our size,” says Muzumdar. “She will help reinforce our foundation from an operational standpoint so that how we make is as innovative as what we make.”
A seasoned executive with 20 years in the industry, Sreenan has extensive US and European management experience specializing in agency leadership, operations and overall business and financial performance.
Prior to joining AF, Sreenan was SVP, Finance and Operations at WPP’s POSSIBLE, where she oversaw agency management, including P&L ownership, and helped turn the agency’s profits around by streamlining internal and client processes that resulted in revenue doubling year over year for the first two years.
She also acted as POSSIBLE’s regional operations lead for all large cross-WPP new business opportunities including defining new operational and pricing models.
Before that, Sreenan spent two years at EuroRSCG Life 4D (Now Havas Lynx) as EVP, Marketing Operations, responsible for agency management and growth of the business. While there, she introduced a near shore development operation that resulted in higher margin and productivity that ended up being rolled out for the entire EuroRSCG network.
Much of Sreenan’s career prior was spent at DIGITAS, where she held key roles in both London and NYC. She started in New York as SVP of Technology where she was the relationship lead for Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Equities Division, defining interactive strategy and designing an award-winning global CRM workflow application.
She also managed the technical relationship for Allstate, facilitating the re-architecture of Allstate.com and its integration with eCRM initiatives. Four years later, Sreenan was appointed SVP, Delivery and Operations & Global Head of Project Management at DIGITAS Europe/Modem Media Europe (London) where she was a member of Executive Leadership Team with responsibilities including office leadership, sales & marketing and P&L.
While there she oversaw the successful integration of all clients and internal processes resulting from the acquisition of Modem Media and subsequent European expansion into eleven local markets.
Sreenan said, “I’m thrilled to be starting a new chapter at AnalogFolk. What drew me here was that they’re a relatively young independent global agency with tremendous momentum. This freedom allows for innovative thinking and creativity, and my role is to ensure that they can deliver in the most effective and efficient way; not just for our clients but for our employees too.”
A dual citizen of Ireland and the US, Sreenan has three kids that keep her constantly in motion. REEL360 wishes Ruth the best of luck.
