Amanda Bynes says she has shed almost 30 pounds after using Ozempic. The 39-year-old former actress, who revealed earlier this year that she was trying the weight-loss jab, weighed 180lbs, but now she has shown off her new slim look after losing 28lbs.

Amanda shared a photo of herself on her Instagram Stories, and captioned it with: “I usually don’t like paparazzi pictures bc I was 180lbs, but now I’ve lost 28lbs on Ozempic! I’m down to 152lbs. I know I still look big, but this photo is really inspiring to me!”

In June, the former child star, who quit showbiz over a decade ago due to numerous personal problems, including an addiction to the ADHD prescription medication Adderall, revealed in a video shared to Instagram that she turned to Ozempic in a bid to reach her ideal weight of 130 lbs.

The Hairspray performer explained: “I’m going on Ozempic. So excited. I’m 173, now so I hope to get down to like 130, which would be awesome so I look better in paparazzi pictures. I will post about my Ozempic journey, of course.”

In March 2024, Amanda – who has previously battled mental health struggles and drug addiction – shared on Instagram that she piled on more than 20 lbs after she suffered from depression. The Love Wrecked star, who said she was “doing a lot better now” after overcoming the worst of her health problems, said: “I’m doing a lot better now and have learned to do the opposite action when I don’t feel like working out or eating clean.

“I weigh 162 lbs. right now and want to get back to 110 lbs. Earlier this year, Amanda announced on Instagram that she was launching an OnlyFans account. Speaking about why she decided to join the platform – a paid internet content subscription service that is popular with pornographers, but is also used by other content creators – Amanda said: “Disclaimer: I’m doing OnlyFans to chat with my fans through dm’s. I won’t be posting any sleazy content.”
