All the Best People Are Dogs according to Life360 campaign

Life360

Who are we to argue – according to location-sharing maker, Life360, your dog is probably the best member of your family. Truth. More loyal than your cousin, less complicated than your spouse, and infinitely more reliable than most humans. In fact, according to a May 2025 Mars Petcare study, 58% of pet owners say they’d rather hang with their pets when they’re stressed than with partners, friends, or family.

Now, the app is celebrating that unshakable bond with the launch of its newest innovation, Pet GPS, a tracker that brings your pets into the same app as your family’s humans (and all their questionable decisions).

To mark the launch, Life360 has followed its viral hit musical, I Think of You (Dying), with an equally absurd and heartfelt sequel: “All the Best People Are Dogs.”

Developed by Alto, the new animated musical is another tongue-in-cheek addition to Life360’s acclaimed “Family-Proof Your Family” campaign, which earlier this year took over social media, garnering more than 10 million impressions and 450,000 shares.

This animated musical love letter to man’s best friend kicks off at a house party where a man breaks into song about how his favorite person in the room is, of course, the dog. “Dogs aren’t political,” he sings. “They never ridicule you with unprompted beliefs. Dogs don’t claim that cancel culture ruined comedy.”

Cut to scenes of friends and family embodying every annoying human trait imaginable—debating vaccines, vaping at a kid’s recital, you name it. The song ends on the mic-drop line:
“Dogs won’t betray you or ruin your life… but if they go missing, they might.” Enter Life360’s new Pet GPS, the device that lets users track their dogs right alongside the rest of their family in the app. Watch below:

“For millions of people, their dog (or cat) isn’t just a pet, they’re a true member of the family,” said Mike Zeman, CMO at Life360. “So we developed Pet GPS to bring every family member — human and otherwise — together in one app. And because dogs are often the most dependable ones of the bunch, we made a musical to thank them.”

Directed by Steve Ayson (MJZ) and produced with Feral Child (Passion Pictures), the film features a hilariously catchy song written by Nick Lutsko, the cult songwriter behind Ren & Stimpy.

The work doubles down on Life360’s now-signature blend of honesty and absurdity, reminding families that, yes, sometimes the most grounded, drama-free member of the household walks on four legs.

“Dogs never take out a secret credit card in your name, rack up $87,000, and move to Mexico,” added Jason Bagley, ECD at Alto. “Life360 gets that real connection and humor drive love for the brand. This new musical keeps that spirit alive — it’s funny, relatable, and, most importantly, dog-approved.”

The campaign follows Life360’s award-winning run with Coffin, Coat, and Curfew, a trilogy that swept Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, NY Festivals, Ciclope, and The Webby Awards.

And that’s why “All the Best People Are Dogs” is our Reel Ad of the Week , a campaign that proves the best family drama is the kind your dog quietly sleeps through. “All the Best People Are Dogs” is live across Life360’s social channels.
