AFI Fest 2022 announces cultural partners and sponsors

This is a big week in LA. Not only does the American Film Market kick off live, but so does Reel 360 News’ favorite film festival, AFI FEST 2022.

The American Film Institute announced today the sponsors and cultural supporters for AFI FEST 2022. AT&T returns as the festival’s Premium Sponsor and is committed to elevating underrepresented filmmakers and showcasing stories from diverse creators. AT&T Presents: Untold Stories is an inclusive program for filmmakers to submit production-ready feature film scripts for a chance to win $1M to make their film. 

The program also provides the winning filmmaker promotional and mentorship support throughout all phases of production, including a first look from HBO Max, and a guaranteed premiere at one of the top film festivals in the country. 

Festival Sponsors include Netflix, Showtime and Warner Bros. Discovery.  

Los Angeles Times is back as the festival’s Primary Media Partner and the Red Carpet Premieres Media Partner. 

Variety and The Hollywood Reporter are Official Media Sponsors.
