Klues, Tobaccowala join audience-based Affinity Answers

Marketing data science company Affinity Answers has added to their roster of advisors Jack Klues and Rishad Tobaccowala, two of the most transformational players in advertising within the past few decades.

The digital and media pioneers’ vast knowledge and expertise will be utilized as a foundational resource while Affinity Answers continues to evolve and lead in the arena of audience data.

 
Jack Klues
Jack Klues was the visionary behind media stalwart Starcom and later the creation of VivaKi in 2008, both Publicis Groupe companies.

VivaKi was the first organization to merge the analog, digital, tech and data practices and talent of four of the world’s largest brand agencies (Starcom, Zenith, Digitas and Razorfish) to better satisfy ever-changing advertiser needs at scale. The creation of VivaKi laid the foundation for the groundbreaking Audience on Demand (AOD), a tool combining data from across all the major platforms of the time (Yahoo!, Google, Microsoft), into cohesive, targetable audiences.

“As I entered my retirement phase in late 2013, I sought to find a way to stay involved with the industry that I have loved, continue to learn new things, and align with young, technology-driven businesses that could make meaningful and positive change in behalf of advertisers and agencies,” says Klues. “I found all of this within Affinity Answers.”

 
Rishad Tobaccowala
Rishad Tobaccowala, also of Publicis Groupe, has worked across almost every area of marketing including brand advertising, media, database, direct and interactive marketing. As a pioneer in digital marketing, Rishad helped create one of the first interactive groups and digital agencies more than 20 years ago and has helped launch a series of initiatives over the years for groups focused on gaming, social, mobile and search engine marketing. Rishad was named by BusinessWeek as one of the top business leaders for his pioneering innovation, and Time magazine dubbed him one of five Marketing Innovators.
