For the latest addition to their Masterpiece campaign, GODIVA turned to agency Lippe Taylor, production company Fela, and actress and singer Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl). The result is a masterful, action-driven museum caper.
Directed by Adrian Villagomez, “Masterpiece” pairs Mission Impossible-inspired set pieces with poised performance as Meester slips through dim galleries, dodges security, and glides past a dozing guard in pursuit of a single bite of the coveted Masterpiece chocolate. After a nod to Lady Godiva in a grand hall, she exits on horseback. Watch below:
Villagomez draws on years of experience in the music video world-building to craft an interior that echoes GODIVA’s Belgian roots. Classical architecture, rich textures, and a deliberate sense of scale pull the viewer into a world of indulgence and polish.
Fela is a Toronto and Los Angeles-based production company working across music videos, commercials, documentaries, film, and photography. Guided by the mantra “Own Your Culture, Tell Your Stories,” the company partners with a diverse roster of creatives from across North America to deliver culturally resonant work.
