Lena Kazar leaves Chicago for Danger in LA

Umm, exactly how many former Chicagoans are currently working in LA?

Count Lena Kazar among them now. After representing an A-list roster of production companies, editorial and design studios, and post houses in the Midwest for three years, Kazar has now joined commercial production studio, Lord Danger.

Hell-bent (according to them) on curating the heavenly absurd, the studio has brought in Kazar as Director of Business Development. Harnessing her eclectic background in medicine, journalism, and fine art, Lena is the ultimate translator between the right and left-brains in advertising. As Lord Danger’s new Director of Business Development, she will spearhead sales strategy, conceives and implements marketing campaigns, and operationalizes partnership engagement.

Lord Danger EP/Founder Josh Shadid said, “In an industry heavily dependent on relationships, it’s important to surround yourself with people who bring not only intelligence and creativity, but positivity to the job. Lena’s ability to stay authentic to herself while creating genuine connections with those she meets is something that really drew me to her. Her multifaceted background brings with her an array of skills, from organizational development and sales to writing and design. Plus, she’s just freaking cool.”

Lena is described as an outspoken feminist who loves an organized inbox almost as much as she loves a neat whiskey. She was drawn to Lord Danger’s evolved approach to business and production, and looks forward to collaborating with the industry’s innovators and game-changers to create noteworthy content.

Kazer had this to say about the move, “I’m over the moon to be a part of the Lord Danger team – we all share a highly collaborative, all-hands-on-deck approach to expanding the business, and it’s remarkable how quickly we’ve become close-knit. From the start, I was impressed by Lord Danger’s creative approach to evolving with the media landscape, and have been thrilled by the progress we’ve achieved working together already.”

She added, “Josh is a true talent, mentor, and jack-of-all-trades, and has me cough-laughing on my coffee at least once a day. I couldn’t ask for a more genuine and tenacious team to get my hands dirty with.”

REEL360 wishes Lena the best of luck.
