404 Innovation Studio names Arthur Lobão as CD

Arthur Lobão

404 Innovation Studio, part of Galeria Holding, has appointed Arthur Lobão as Creative Director, joining Thayssa Szymanskyj and the creative duo Carlos Yanke and Michelle Gorodski — known collectively as “Carchelle.” His arrival strengthens the studio’s growing roster of multidisciplinary creative leadership.

Lobão steps into the role following 404’s integration of part of EST.31, the creative studio he founded in 2024. EST.31 quickly made its mark on the industry with an innovative equity-based model built specifically for startups, partnering with more than 10 early-stage companies worldwide. The studio’s fresh, founder-friendly methodology earned it the title of New Studio of the Year at the 2025 Latin American Design Awards.

With over a decade of experience as both a copywriter and art director, Lobão has led teams across Latin America — including Mexico — and played pivotal roles in building internal creative hubs at Nubank, NotCo, and Stone, scaling their creative operations across 12 countries. His portfolio also includes global brands such as Netflix, Google, Amazon Prime, and Diageo.

Rafael Caldeira, Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of 404 Innovation Studio, said Lobão’s hybrid background uniquely positions him to shape the studio’s next chapter. “Arthur represents the future of creative leadership. He understands not only how to make exceptional creative work but how creativity fuels business value at every stage of growth,” Caldeira said. “His experience building brands from the inside out, paired with a proven entrepreneurial mindset, makes him the perfect fit to lead our global creative efforts.”

Lobão expressed enthusiasm for joining the studio’s mission of blending innovation with world-class craft. “Great creative work only happens when you’re fully invested in every layer of a brand — from the story to the business,” he said. “That’s why I’m excited to begin this new chapter at 404 Innovation Studio, a place built to push boundaries and work hand in hand with brands at their core.”

In his new role, Lobão will oversee creative output across the studio, collaborating with clients to build strategies, campaigns, and brand experiences designed to accelerate meaningful business growth. His appointment underscores 404 Innovation Studio’s commitment to aligning strategic innovation with creative excellence.
