This holiday season, Verizon and Mattel’s Barbie are teaming up for an unprecedented collaboration, turning the iconic Barbie DreamHouse into the Barbie StreamHouse, powered by Verizon Home Internet. The partnership marks Barbie’s starring role in Verizon’s holiday campaign, complete with special content, merchandise, giveaways, and an unforgettable real-life experience in New York City.
From DreamHouse to StreamHouse
Barbie’s StreamHouse takes center stage in Verizon’s 360-degree marketing campaign created by Ogilvy, spanning digital, TV, social media, and outdoor billboards. The campaign highlights how Verizon Home Internet powers every corner of Barbie’s home—from gaming to connected devices—through Verizon’s customizable myPlan service. Watch below:

As the heart of the campaign, a life-sized Barbie StreamHouse will pop up in NYC’s SoHo neighborhood, inviting fans of all ages to step into Barbie’s world.

From December 12–15, the Barbie StreamHouse will open its doors at 214 Lafayette Street in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. Fans can enjoy:
- Interactive Experiences: Guided tours hosted by Barbie via a mobile experience, holiday photo ops, interactive games, surprises, and giveaways.
- Exclusive Merch: Lucky attendees can score exclusive Barbie and Verizon-themed merchandise, including custom phone cases and t-shirts.
- Holiday Gift Inspiration: A virtual shopping experience featuring holiday must-haves like the HMD Barbie Phone and Verizon’s Gizmo Watch.
Empowerment Through Philanthropy
The collaboration extends beyond fun, with a focus on empowerment and community impact. Mattel Philanthropy and Verizon are hosting 100 students from Barbie’s Dream Gap Project and Girls Inc. NYC for a special StreamHouse experience. The event includes a behind-the-scenes look at Verizon technology and holiday play kits with Barbie toys and merchandise.
Students from Verizon Innovative Learning schools will also attend. Verizon Innovative Learning has supported nearly 8 million students nationwide by providing free technology-infused education and internet access.
