FX has dropped a tantalizing trailer for the highly anticipated third season of The Bear, signaling the return of the intense culinary drama starring Jeremy Allen White as Carmy. The new season promises more dysfunction and drama as Carmy, alongside Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) and Richie (Fantastic Four’s Ebon Moss-Bachrach), navigates the pressures of running their revamped restaurant.

After transforming their sandwich shop into a new dining establishment last season, the team faces mounting tension and the high stakes of delivering top-notch service. The trailer showcases scenes of chaos, with Richie exclaiming, “I’m getting drilled out there,” to Carmy. Their partnership seems strained as they confront each other amidst the stress. The teaser hints at various mishaps, including dropped food and silverware, and even a stove catching on fire.

Sydney aptly sums up the atmosphere by saying, “This is a dysfunctional kitchen,” to which Carmy and Richie reply in unison, “Show me a functional one.” Watch below:

Earlier this month, FX offered fans a glimpse of the new season with a teaser showing Carmy alone in the restaurant’s kitchen at night, reflecting the relentless pursuit of culinary perfection. As the camera zooms out, it reveals the sprawling Chicago skyline, setting the stage for the upcoming challenges.

FX describes the new season as follows: “Carmy pushes himself harder than ever and demands excellence from his crew, who do their best to match his intensity. Their quest for culinary excellence will propel the crew to new levels and stress the bonds that hold the restaurant together. As the team grows in size, each member will strive to reach a greater level of service within their role. In the restaurant industry, you’re never on solid ground, and with that ever-changing landscape comes new challenges and opportunities. Our chefs have learned that every second counts, but this season we’ll find out if they have what it takes to make it to tomorrow.”

The series also stars Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Matty Matheson, Oliver Platt, and Molly Gordon. Executive producers include Christopher Storer, Matheson, Josh Senior, Joanna Calo, Cooper Wehde, Tyson Bidner, and Hiro Murai, with Courtney Storer serving as both an executive producer and the show’s culinary producer.

Sources have confirmed to sister publication Reel Chicago that The Bear has already secured a fourth season, having filmed it back-to-back with the third season to maintain its annual release schedule.

Fans can look forward to another round of high-octane kitchen drama when The Bear returns for its third season on FX.
