For generations, Goodnight Moon has been the story that signaled comfort, a gentle farewell before tomorrow’s adventures begin. Now, Marriott Bonvoy’s Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is giving the beloved bedtime tale a new chapter with “Goodnight Room,” a touching campaign that reimagines the classic through the lens of travel and connection.
Created with Wieden+Kennedy New York and set to an original score by Matt Maltese, the campaign celebrates the small, human moments that make travelers feel at home, even when they’re far away. It arrives as Sheraton continues its global transformation — redefining the brand as a modern gathering place where the comfort of home meets the magic of travel.
The film follows a working mother recounting her day to her son from a Sheraton hotel room, interwoven with scenes of travelers sharing meals, joining video calls, and exchanging quiet smiles in the lobby. Each vignette reflects Sheraton’s signature warmth — the idea that home isn’t just a place, but a feeling you can find anywhere in the world. Watch below:
Subtle nods to Goodnight Moon appear throughout: “two little kittens” peek from a guest’s socks, a hotel associate passes a computer mouse, and a boy in striped pajamas evokes the story’s nostalgic charm.
“Goodnight Moon is a story many of us grew up with, and now read to our own children,” said Peggy Roe, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer at Marriott International. “Reimagining it through the lens of Sheraton felt deeply personal. Both stories are about familiarity and comfort — and this film captures the small gestures that make us feel grounded wherever we are.”
A Storybook Suite Come to Life
Sheraton is also bringing the magic of Goodnight Moon off the page with the Goodnight Moon Suite at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, which recently underwent a $100 million renovation. Available through February 28, the suite invites guests to step inside one of literature’s most cherished bedrooms — complete with green walls, red carpet, a glowing LED fireplace, and whimsical moonlit touches.
Guests are welcomed with milk and cookies, a plush bunny, and a dining credit at the hotel’s signature restaurant — a nostalgic, storybook-inspired stay designed to delight guests of every generation.
Members can also bid on an exclusive Marriott Bonvoy Moment: a two-night stay in the suite from December 26–28, including a moonlit dinner, a stargazing experience, s’mores, and keepsake family gifts.

Giving Back Where It Matters
In the spirit of the season, Sheraton is extending the campaign’s message of connection with donations to UNICEF and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Through Marriott’s LoveTravels platform, members can donate Bonvoy points to these organizations — with a 2x Marriott match through December 31, 2025, up to 3.75 million points.
“Goodnight Room” is more than a campaign; it’s a reintroduction to one of hospitality’s most iconic names. For nearly a century, Sheraton has been a pioneer in global travel, often the first to open in new destinations and bring people together.
