Visit San Antonio (VSA) has unveiled its latest national campaign, a vibrant celebration of the city’s rich culture, history, and attractions.
Developed by Rest of the World, VSA’s agency of record, in collaboration with Chamoy Creative, the campaign centers around two brand films that capture the essence of San Antonio through captivating storytelling and stunning visuals.
The films, directed by Rob Adamo and produced by full-service production studio Bella, highlight the diverse experiences and unique charm that make San Antonio a premier travel destination.
The campaign, designed to showcase San Antonio as a city of endless discovery, features two extended brand films: The Many Stories of San Antonio and The Many Secrets of San Antonio. Each film, running just over two minutes, offers a fresh perspective on the city.
In The Many Stories of San Antonio, viewers follow a visitor and a local as they explore the city’s renowned cuisine, bustling markets, and breathtaking parks. Meanwhile, The Many Secrets of San Antonio shines a spotlight on a variety of individuals, showcasing the city’s most beloved offerings and its globally acclaimed attractions. Watch below:

“San Antonio is the vibrant protagonist of our campaign,” explained Sergio Alcocer, Creative Director at Rest of the World. “To capture its essence, we needed a director who could not only create beautiful visuals but also tell compelling stories. Rob Adamo did a phenomenal job in this capacity.”
Behind the Scenes
The collaboration between Rest of the World, Chamoy Creative, and Bella resulted in a vast array of deliverables, including numerous 30- and 15-second versions of the films in both English and Spanish. These assets are being distributed across Visit San Antonio’s social media channels, through an innovative media plan that also includes Connected TV (CTV) and online placements.
Director Rob Adamo praised the campaign’s scripts for their detail and authenticity. “I loved the adventure story in The Many Stories of San Antonio, and the anthemic feel of The Many Secrets of San Antonio,” he said. “Though different in style, both films share a common spirit that puts the city’s adventure, history, culture, and natural beauty on full display.”
The campaign’s production process was an ambitious endeavor, with the team capturing live-action footage across numerous locations in San Antonio over several days and nights. Director of Photography Keenan Newman and his crew worked at a rapid pace, navigating multiple locations each day while still allowing room for creative spontaneity. “Our producers overcame one challenge after another to set us up for success,” Newman said. “Their efforts made it possible to capture the most cinematic moments and experiences.”
Bella’s post-production team, led by Executive Producer David Perry, optimized their workflow to meet the project’s tight timeline and extensive deliverable list. Collaborating remotely across North America and Mexico, the team worked closely with Tomgirl’s music and sound company to simultaneously develop the edit, music, sound design, and mix. This streamlined approach ensured that all deliverables were ready for client approval in rapid succession.
“This campaign is a testament to what Bella is all about: excellence, collaboration, transparent communication, and a positive experience for everyone involved,” Perry said. “Every member of the team went above and beyond to make this campaign special.”
With this campaign, Visit San Antonio hopes to inspire travelers to explore the city and discover its many stories and secrets for themselves. The campaign serves as a powerful reminder of why San Antonio continues to be a top destination for visitors from around the world.
