Fela has signed celebrated photographer Othello Grey for exclusive North American representation. Grey joins Fela’s newly launched photography division, where he will collaborate alongside fellow talents, including photographer Ro.lexx and multidisciplinary artist Justin Singer, who also serves as a live-action director for the company.
Grey has earned his reputation through his unique ability to blur the lines between editorial, commercial, and artistic photography, communicating rich nuance in every shot. His portfolio includes collaborations with iconic brands and publications such as Louis Vuitton, Nike, Apple Music, OVO, Vans, Converse, ESSENSE, Sprite, Fendi, Adidas, The North Face, and i-D Magazine.
Entirely self-taught, Grey initially used photography to document personal experiences, developing over time a skill for capturing ephemeral moments that tell deeper visual stories. Now, he strives to leverage his art to challenge stereotypes and offer nuanced representations of Black identity, aspiring to be the artistic role model he sought in his youth.
“Having worked with Othello for years, he has become part of our family, and our admiration for his artistry has only deepened,” says Taj Critchlow, Fela’s Founder. “Representing him feels like a natural progression. Whether he’s shooting for a brand, a musician, or a major publication, Othello’s style is unmistakable and uniquely his own.”
With this partnership, Fela continues to expand its influence in the photography world, combining creative talent with a commitment to impactful representation.
Reel 360 News wishes Othello the best of luck.
