(Netflix new brand film is an international effort)

To call Netflix’s new campaign a work of global creative would be an understatement. No. As the new brand campaign makes its debut today, celebrating shared stories about humanity, this is much more of a campaign for the universe. At least, the fun new creative featuring aliens, would have us think so.

At the heart of this effort is an animated Netflix brand film, developed by Australian creative community Mash, about a charming, intergalactic crew who discover the world’s stories on Netflix and begin to see the people of Earth differently.

RSA Film’s Robert Stromberg, who won Academy Awards for Best Art Direction on Avatar and Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, directed the new film. Watch below:

Netflix has been teasing the campaign all week.
