Marty Mcfly, Doc Brown reunite 30 years later

(Back to the Future)

It’s been 30 years since Chicago-born Robert Zemeckis’ Back to the Future trilogy wrapped its story up on the big screen. The films still remain beloved in our culture. That can especially be attributed to stars Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, who portrayed Marty McFly and Doc Brown, respectively.

Although there have been the expected reboot conversations and we have the Rick and Morty upcoming homage to look forward to, we will most likely never see the two again. Zemeckis has also stated several times that he wants the films and property to remain untouched.

But we do have these photos from a recent charity Poker tournament, which reunited the two stars.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation, whose research hopes to find a cure for Parkinson’s disease, staged the event. Fox, who suffers from Parkinson’s, posed for a picture with his old co-star Lloyd at the event, with the resulting picture going on the latter’s Instagram.
