Leaked Wanda storyboards reveal darker dialogue

(Elizabeth Olsen, Pual Bettany)

Around the second week of February several storyboards were leaked from episode 8 of  WandaVision in a seemingly innocent photo on imdb and then were promptly shared on Reddit.

The storyboards accurately depict the series of events that occurred when Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) went to S.W.O.R.D. to request access to Vision’s (Paul Bettany) body. We are shown that Director Hayward (Josh Stamberg) is a giant liar and Wanda did not steal Vision’s body and take it to Westview as he told his team.

Included in the group of 16 storyboards was one that did not make the final cut of the show.

When she was demanding to see Vision’s body Wanda went on a grief induced rant, “I’m sick of everyone acting like Tony Stark is the only person we lost. Like he’s the only Avenger there ever was. Too bad then, if you’re Natasha, but at least she was flesh and blood, right? But where are the memorials for Vision? No moving tributes for the synthezoid?”

It’s unfortunate that it was cut because mentioning two other Avengers further solidifies Wanda’s place within the MCU as well as the WandaVision series.

Fans are always giddy with delight when the series shares obvious allusions to the films, so this particular line would have been widely celebrated.

You can see the story boards below in a video posted on youtube.

The finale for WandaVision streams this Friday on Disney+.
