Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS storefront in West Hollywood was hit with a wave of graffiti early Wednesday morning — but deputies say the man responsible has already been arrested.
Photos from the scene show the store’s minimalist white exterior covered in black spray-painted phrases including “we need that” and “Kimmy Bread,” along with several other markings that were largely illegible. It’s unclear whether the tag was intended as a direct message to Kardashian or simply opportunistic vandalism of the brand’s high-profile L.A. location.
According to the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station, deputies received a call around 5 a.m. from a bystander who spotted the graffiti. A male suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of felony vandalism, with authorities estimating the damage exceeded the $400 threshold required for the charge.
SKIMS representatives are expected to follow up with law enforcement, though a spokesperson confirmed the store was quickly cleaned and reopened on schedule. By midday, the walls had already been restored to their original pristine look.
The incident comes during a banner year for Kardashian’s shapewear brand, which recently reached a valuation of $5 billion and continues to expand its physical retail footprint alongside its massive online presence.
TMZ was first to report the story.
