Cabin Editing Company has tapped Kim Christensen as Managing Director of its Los Angeles office. In this new role, Christensen will work closely with Founder Carr Schilling and Cabin’s executive teams in New York and Europe to drive the company’s global profile and growth.
“We are inspired by Kim’s extensive professional background, her wealth of industry knowledge and relationships, and her down-to-earth, approachable leadership style,” shared Schilling. “She’ll be a great fit at Cabin. We’re excited to welcome her and to hit the ground running!”
Christensen joins Cabin with a rich background in post-production, including visual effects, design, and editorial. Most recently, she spent 12 years at a52 as Executive Producer, where she played a key role in the company’s creative and business growth.
Her experience also includes leadership roles at Bug Editorial, where she spearheaded the launch of its LA office, as well as Spot Welders and Public VFX. She began her career on the agency side at Amster Yard, a division of McCann Erickson in New York.
Renowned for her hard work, resourcefulness, and collaborative approach, Christensen has led projects for major international brands such as Nike, Apple, Ikea, Samsung, and Microsoft. Her work has received accolades from The Emmys, The One Show, and AICP.
