Hanson Dodge expanded its in-house media practice shortly before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, a decision that proved prescient. As a result, the agency was well-positioned to provide media support to clients during the pandemic. In addition to serving existing clients, they secured new media assignments and added new clients to their portfolio. Currently, media contributes nearly 25% of the agency’s revenue.

Stacie Boney, President of Hanson Dodge, highlighted the importance of Whitt’s role: “We’re at a critical juncture where we need a proven leader to guide our growing media practice; someone with deep integrated media expertise who embodies our culture of ‘making great leaps.’ Jeremy is just that. He brings more than 20 years of agency experience working on businesses in categories that align with HD, ranging from travel and tourism to education, lifestyle, healthcare, CPG, and BtoB, among others.”

Whitt, with his extensive background as a media strategist, is well-versed in the ever-evolving media landscape, including digital, AI, connection planning, and programmatic. He has a track record of fostering creativity and collaborating closely with creatives to develop innovative solutions. In his role as a member of the Leadership Team, Whitt is expected to provide a fresh perspective to shape the agency’s future.

Before his time at BVK, Whitt spent over 15 years at Cramer Krasselt, progressing from a media intern to one of the youngest Vice Presidents in the agency’s history. His responsibilities included directing media strategy for CK’s Milwaukee and Phoenix offices, with a focus on digital activation, innovation, engagement, and SEM strategies.
