Harbor expands UK advertising division with sound team

Harbor is strengthening its UK Advertising division with the addition of award-winning sound designers George Castle and James Benn as Creative Directors, Sound.

This dynamic duo, known for their cutting-edge approach to sound design, brings over two decades of experience in advertising, entertainment, and experiential projects. They will be joined by Savannah King as Executive Producer and Rachel Scott as Associate Mixer to further enhance Harbor’s growing sound team.

Castle and Benn have collaborated on high-profile campaigns for Nike, Apple, McDonald’s, Samsung, Adidas, and Google, as well as feature films, documentaries, and immersive experiences. Their passion for sound and ability to elevate creative projects make them a perfect fit for Harbor’s expansion.

Meet the Team

George Castle – Creative Director, Sound

An award-winning sound designer, Castle has shaped the sonic identity of brands like Nike, McDonald’s, Burberry, Adidas, and Toyota. His work has earned recognition at the Kinsale Shark Awards and Music & Sound Awards, showcasing his excellence in bespoke soundscapes. Notable recent projects include Travis Scott 4×4, Riyadh Season – Esports, and the feature film Last Swim, which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and won in its category.

James Benn – Creative Director, Sound

A multi-award-winning sound designer, Benn’s diverse portfolio includes campaigns for Apple, Samsung, Ford, Jo Malone, and Google, as well as music videos, documentaries, and immersive experiences. His work on Google Chrome “MPH vs BPM,” Revolut “Money Possibilities,” and Nike “Closer” has received multiple Kinsale Shark Awards and a Merit at The One Show. Passionate about creative inclusivity, Benn fosters environments where talent can thrive.

Savannah King – Executive Producer

King brings a strong background in integrated production, post-production, and client management, having worked with leading agencies such as Anomaly, The&Partnership, and Saatchi & Saatchi. She has played a key role in campaigns for Rimowa, Expedia, Captain Morgan, and Toyota.

Rachel Scott – Associate Mixer

Scott brings technical expertise in high-end advertising and feature film sound design, having previously worked at Grand Central Sound and No. 8, where she collaborated closely with Castle and Benn. Her sound work for Burberry, Pepsi, and Women’s Aid has been widely recognized for its precision and creativity.

Harbor’s Vision for the Future

The new sound team will be based at Harbor’s Turnmills studio and will be available to work globally. They will collaborate closely with Harbor’s creative team to deliver world-class sound design for advertising, film, and experiential projects.
