Droga5 has named acclaimed creative leader Rafael Rizuto as Chief Creative Officer of New York and the Americas, marking a bold new chapter for the agency’s flagship office.
Rizuto, who joins in January 2026, will lead creative for Droga5’s New York headquarters while connecting teams across North and South America to drive integrated, culturally resonant work for global clients.
The Brazilian-born creative brings more than two decades of global experience across Ogilvy, Dentsu Creative, BBH, 180LA, and Pereira O’Dell. Most recently, he served as North America CCO at Ogilvy, where he led the Cannes Gold-winning Dove “Get Unready” campaign.
His impressive trophy case includes a Titanium and double Grand Prix at Cannes for Boost Mobile’s “Boost Your Voice”, a Grand Prix for Good for UNICEF’s “Unfairy Tales”, Dentsu’s “Scrolling Therapy” Pharma Grand Prix, and Google’s “Black Owned Friday”, which swept The One Show and Clio Awards.
Beyond his award haul, Rizuto has a history of elevating the agencies he touches—bringing BBH New York back to Ad Age’s A-List after a decade, helping 180LA become the TBWA network’s most awarded shop, and helping Dentsu Creative US earn its first Ad Age Standout Agency nod.
“Rafa will bring boundless energy to Droga5 as well as world-class experience,” said Mark Green, Global CEO, Droga5. “He’s a key player in reinventing Droga5 New York and strengthening our creative bridge across the Americas. We’re lucky to have someone who’s not just talented, but a brilliant human.”
Rizuto added, “I grew up in this business worshiping Droga5. No other agency shaped me more. We’re at a pivotal moment where the role of creativity is being challenged, and I believe Droga5, powered by Accenture Song’s tech expertise, can redefine what comes next. The future is bright.”
