Doner

Doner has announced the appointment of Brad Emmett and Rob Legato as EVP and Executive Creative Directors. Tasked with enhancing Doner’s creative work and cultivating new client partnerships, Emmett and Legato will collaborate across the agency’s diverse portfolio, which includes brands like Zyrtec, Hackensack Meridian Health, and Stellantis.

“As an agency rooted in Detroit, we are steadfast in our commitment to investing in exceptional local talent. Welcoming Brad and Rob back to Doner exemplifies this mission,” said David DeMuth, Chair and CEO of the Doner Partners Network (DPN).

The duo brings a wealth of experience from McCann Detroit, where they spearheaded acclaimed creative campaigns for General Motors, including the Super Bowl hits “No Way Norway” featuring Will Ferrell and “Dr. EVil” starring Mike Myers. Their leadership extended to other iconic brands like Alfa Romeo, JBL, and U.S. Bank, earning them accolades from Cannes Lions, Webbys, One Show, and the Clio Award Hall of Fame.

“I’ve grown immensely through collaborating with CEOs, top creatives, and my teams. Returning to Doner feels like a natural step forward,” said Emmett. “I’m excited to build on the agency’s impressive portfolio and drive impactful work for our clients.”

“Doner has always been a place where creativity thrives, and I’m thrilled to rejoin during this exciting chapter,” added Legato. “The agency’s ability to innovate at the intersection of Modern and Main Street is unmatched, and I can’t wait to contribute to its legacy.”

The announcement aligns with Doner’s #HireDetroit initiative, which earmarks over $1 million to recruit top local talent. In addition to Emmett and Legato, the agency has onboarded 11 new hires through this program.

Both Emmett and Legato will begin their roles immediately, reinforcing Doner’s position as a leader in delivering groundbreaking work and cultivating world-class talent.
