Two renowned Seattle-based agencies, DNA and Little Hands of Stone, have officially merged to create a new agency, DNA&STONE. This partnership brings together DNA’s 26-year legacy of trust, accountability, and business insights with Little Hands of Stone’s award-winning, boundary-pushing creativity, forming a dynamic and innovative offering for clients.
A Unique Merger Built on Collaboration
Unlike traditional mergers to cut costs or increase market share, DNA&STONE focuses on client-centric innovation. The new agency combines DNA’s expertise in data-driven performance and consumer insights with Little Hands of Stone’s creative agility and bold approach to marketing.
Alan Brown, Founder and Chair of DNA, explained the motivation behind the merger, “As two companies based in Seattle, we all came together and asked, ‘Why compete when we can grow?’ This isn’t about cozying up in the middle ground; it’s about harnessing our differences to create exponential impact for our clients.”
Michael Boychuk, Co-Founder of Little Hands of Stone, emphasized the agency’s unique positioning, “We’re offering clients the rare combination of legacy expertise, disruptive creativity, and the empathy of a highly diverse workforce. DNA&STONE is what our industry needs more of.”
The merger sees the leadership of both agencies come together as co-founders, sharing ownership equally through a stock-for-stock transaction. The founding team includes:
- Alan Brown, Founder and Chair of DNA
- Chris Witherspoon, Co-Owner and CEO of DNA
- Michael Boychuk, Co-Founder of Little Hands of Stone
- Matt McCain, Co-Founder of Little Hands of Stone
DNA&STONE will operate from DNA’s Seattle offices, with all 40 employees from both agencies retained under the new entity.
The merged agency aims to deliver enhanced services to a roster of high-profile clients, including BECU, Rover, Amazon, Purina, Providence, Ziply Fiber, Aegis, and MCU. By leveraging the strengths of both agencies, DNA&STONE promises to provide a “rare cocktail of rock-solid client trust and breakthrough creativity at scale.”
DNA&STONE is already operational, and contracts are expected to be finalized this month. The agency’s leadership and diverse workforce are poised to redefine industry standards and deliver impactful and innovative solutions for clients.
With this merger, DNA&STONE is set to become a new benchmark in the world of advertising, combining legacy expertise with modern creative dynamism.
