Michelob ULTRA is stepping onto the Super Bowl stage once again, this time with a high-energy, star-studded commercial titled “The ULTRA Hustle.” The ad, which continues the brand’s new “Play For An ULTRA” campaign, celebrates the joy of friendly competition—with a Michelob ULTRA as the ultimate prize.

The hilarious 60-second spot, directed by Stacy Wall and created by Wieden + Kennedy New York, features an unexpected duo—Willem Dafoe and Catherine O’Hara—who bring their signature charisma and comedic timing to the pickleball court.

They take on all challengers, deploying clever tricks and unexpected moves, outplaying opponents, and collecting Michelob ULTRAs along the way. Adding to the mix, the commercial features appearances from NFL legend Randy Moss, WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu, and Olympic gold medalist Ryan Crouser. Watch below:

The “Play For An ULTRA” campaign, which debuted earlier this year, is built around the idea that competition—whether on the field, court, or even in casual backyard games—is always more exciting when there’s something on the line.

For Super Bowl LIX, Michelob ULTRA is teaming up with DoorDash to introduce a first-of-its-kind beer gifting platform. Fans will be able to send Michelob ULTRAs to their friends—whether they won or lost—directly through the DoorDash app with same-day delivery.

The “Play For An ULTRA” platform on DoorDash will be promoted through digital media, email marketing, social media challenges from Michelob ULTRA’s roster of sports stars, and shoppable media within the DoorDash app. This initiative ensures that game day parties across the country stay stocked with Michelob ULTRA, while adding an interactive layer to the friendly competition theme of the campaign.
