BeautifulBeast wins Best of Show at AAF Awards

AAF Awards

The “Cancel the World Cup” campaign, created by Texas-based agency BeautifulBeast for Fundación Cardiológica Argentina (Argentinian Heart Foundation), has been awarded Best of Show at this year’s American Advertising Awards. This technology-driven campaign aimed to raise awareness of the importance of visiting a cardiologist to prevent heart disease.

The American Advertising Awards, organized by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), is the largest and most representative competition of its kind, receiving over 25,000 entries. Campaigns must advance through local and regional levels to be eligible for the national award, providing insights into work likely to succeed in other international creative competitions.

Aldo Quevedo, CEO/Creative Chairman of BeautifulBeast and who accepted the award for Best of Show said, “We’re so excited and honored that our work has been recognized by the American Advertising Awards. It has literally been the perfect night. A special shoutout to our beautiful teams, clients and partners.” Watch the winning creative below:

In addition to the Best of Show, 65 Gold ADDYs were awarded, along with four Special Judges Awards and one Mosaic Award for multicultural advertising. The student portion of the competition also saw several ADDYs presented.

Winners were announced during AAF’s ADMERICA National Conference at a Gala ceremony at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, from May 30 to June 2. The event, hosted by award-winning comedian and actress Loni Love, was attended by 500 professionals from the advertising, marketing, media, and tech industries.

David Campbell, Chair of the National American Advertising Awards Committee, stated, “Entrants continue to up their game each year. To advance through three tiers of judging, each with a different jury, and to become one of more than 25,000 to claim Best of Show is truly an extraordinary feat.”
