Arnold Worldwide has named Marc Blanchard as Executive Vice President, Head of Experience Design. In the newly created role, Blanchard will oversee the agency’s CX practice, working in close collaboration with Arnold’s leadership and the global Havas CX network to elevate customer experience across marquee clients such as Progressive Insurance, PNC Bank, ADP, and De Beers.
Blanchard joins Arnold with more than two decades of experience building digital experiences, product platforms, and design systems for global brands. Most recently, he served as Chief Experience Officer at Bounteous, where he led design strategy and helped establish the company’s co-innovation framework—an integration of Agile, Lean, and Design Thinking methodologies.
This marks a return to the Havas family for Blanchard, who previously spent 18 years within the network, leading global design engagements with IBM and co-founding the brand’s marketing innovation studio. During that time, he also helped shape Havas’ early service models around AI and emerging tech.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Marc to the Arnold team,” said George Sargent, CEO of Arnold Worldwide. “CMOs today are navigating the complex intersection of brand, innovation, and experience. Marc brings not only deep expertise in this space, but the ability to bring clarity and cohesion to the customer journey in a way that drives meaningful growth.”
Blanchard’s appointment signals Arnold’s continued investment in experience design as a core pillar of its creative offering. “Experience is the promise a brand makes—and how it delivers,” noted Blanchard. “When done right, it builds trust, brand reputation, and long-term value. Arnold is uniquely positioned to help brands take that leap—bravely and authentically—and I’m excited to help lead that charge.”
Blanchard’s work has been recognized by The One Show, London International, the Clios, and other global shows. He’s served as a judge for Cannes Lions, Webby Awards, and the Clios, and taught design innovation at Columbia, NYU, and San Francisco State. He currently serves on the board of Experience Futures, a nonprofit incubator advancing inclusive, purpose-driven tech design.
Blanchard reports directly to Arnold CEO George Sargent and is based out of the agency’s Boston headquarters. Reel 360 News wishes Marc the best of luck in his new role.
