Amazon’s Singing Boxes need somebody to love

Christmas ads for retailers are now in full swing. Amazon has now entered the fray with their iconic singing boxes making a return.

And Reel 360 likes this one a lot.

Created by London-based Lucky Generals, the new Amazon toe-tapping and cheery new 90-second holiday TV spot is set to Solomon Burke’s classic track, Everybody Needs Somebody to Love.

Created by London-based agency Lucky Generals, the spot, which debuted during Sunday Night Football, shows families, friends, colleagues and strangers of all backgrounds, ages and walks of life coming together as they sing and dance along with the cheerful Amazon smile boxes.

Watch the festive 90-second spot directed by Smuggler’s Henry Alex Rubin below:

The integrated global brand campaign will also extend to traditional media channels, including online video, digital, radio, print, out of home and social, as well as Amazon box tape takeovers and beyond.
