FCB gets it Bright

Lisa Bright

FCB Chicago announced last week that Lisa Bright has has left Iris Worldwide, as its executive creative director, to join the Michigan Avenue shop as the agency’s newest SVP, Group Creative Director.

Bright will report directly to Chief Creative Officer, Liz Taylor, and will be responsible for creative leadership across a diversity of brands including Humana, Renew Life, Liquid Plumbr, Pine-Sol, and Glad.

“Lisa is an amazing creative leader who recognizes the power of a big idea, and knows how to tell a truly integrated creative story,” said Taylor. “I am continuously impressed by her ability to develop creative platforms in a channel agnostic way, and I could not be more excited to have her leading such a diverse group of brands.”

Bright brings 15 years of experience, having created big creative platforms and award-winning work for many brands including Clearasil, Smirnoff, McDonald’s, Wrigley, Jeep, L’Oréal and Philips. In 2016,

Bright was named #4 on Business Insider’s list of the 30 most creative women in advertising, and the community agrees, saying that Bright has a unique ability to tap into a brand’s heritage and connect consumers with that heritage in a modern and meaningful way.

Her Portraits work for Jeep featured powerful imagery that represented a past shared by both the brand and the consumer, and earned her a Super Clio, the #1 spot on Ad Week’s list of the 5 Best Super Bowl ads, and recognition by the One Show and Cannes Lions. Bright’s appointment marks the latest addition to FCB Chicago’s creative team, including John Regan and Tor Lemhag.

The agency is reportedly excited not only about Bright’s creativity and collaborative nature, but her dance moves as well. Can we get a little bass?
