Energy BBDO cracks some eggs, makes an omelet

"Incredible Egg" reboots with a nun

“Incredible Egg” reboots with a nun

For me, nothing beats a fried egg sandwich with whisky-maple bacon on a croissant in the morning. Yeah, I just displayed my “bougie.” More than pancakes. More than waffles. More than peanut butter French Toast. I like my eggs in egg form.

Why am I going on about how I like my eggs? Because Energy BBDO and The American Egg Board made me think about it in a rad, new print campaign which seeks to inspire people to think beyond fried or scrambled in its latest marketing campaign — a relaunch of the iconic “Incredible Egg.”

The campaign, which includes out of home and digital, is the first work from creative agency partner Energy BBDO, advertising AOR for the American Egg Board.

With portraits taken by director/photographer John Keatley and food shot by photographer Michael Maes, the work takes a humorous and light-hearted approach to eggs, pairing colorful characters with unexpected egg dishes How about a nun who loves her eggs deviled? Sinful. How about a stoner, they call him a ‘hippie’ right, who prefers his baked!

According to an Energy BBDO spokeswoman, in the coming weeks, the campaign will continue to ask and answer, “How Do You Like Your Eggs?” with more characters.

Out of home executions in NYC, Miami, and Chicago will launch on November 20th as unbranded teasers ask “How Do You Like Your Eggs?”

The question will be answered throughout the next two weeks in the same locations with a rotation of portraits including “Nun,” “Hippie,” and “Divorcee.”

Don’t know about you, but I am hungry!
